I'm a happily married cat mom ~ my husband John and I live with two sweet felines, Harmony & Pouncival. (The cats in the picture are residents of the Peace Plantation Animal Sanctuary, which we often visit just to say "Meow" :-) I design and craft jewelry and am a Reiki healer, an enthusiastic affiliate networker and am fascinated by trance ~ altered states of consciousness ~ and get there via drumming (doumbek and tar), dancing and meditation. Other passions include animal welfare, photography, nature walks, creatively reconstructing clothing and costuming. Hallowe'en is my favorite holiday :-) My website The Meditative Cat, which started as a two-page musing on felines and meditation almost 12 years ago, has grown into a labyrinthine cyberhome that includes sections on animal health & welfare, drum circles, trance, Reiki & alternative spirituality, jewelry craft & costuming, various musical tributes from The Beatles to Stevie Nicks to CATS and something most of us love to do, making money on the internet.
